La
Calestienne has been organised in a master-residence from the beginning
of the twentieth century in which a lot of decorative elements have been
conserved. We have been taking in account the style of the house and
have searched for matching furniture. Consequently we offer our house to
guests who prefer cosiness above superfluous luxury and rigid reserve,
and for who a stay is more than staying overnight in an anonymous
bed.
Our
rooms still reflect the time of our grand parents but
hapilly they offer more comfort.
La Calestienne can give place to nine persons.
A
subjective selection of brochures gives you an idea of what is existing
of museums and touristic attractions.
A cosy drawing room accomodates a library and family games. In
wintertime a stove is used regularly.
Our
garden reflects a southern France peace and is completely
closed so children can play safely. In the orchard are growing numerous
varieties of apples and plums.
